Born in Auvergne in 1983, Adrien Parlange currently lives in Strasbourg. He grew up in the Paris region and studied graphic design at the school Olivier-de-Serres, in Paris. After working in advertising, he went back to illustration and attended the Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg (HEAR) and the Royal College of Art in London. Since 2009, he is author and illustrator of children’s books and frequent collaborator of magazines and newspapers. His books La Chambre du lion and Le Ruban (Albin Michel Jeunesse) won a BolognaRagazzi Award Mentions, while Le Ruban also received a Chen Bochui International Children’s Literature Award in 2017. Both titles are translated in Chinese.
