2021 China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) Postponement Announcement
The Fair is postponed to 22 to 24 July 2022 at our usual venue, the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre.
CCBF 2021 Postponement Announcement
Due to the recent situation of the epidemic control in China, and in order to ensure the health and safety of all our exhibitors and visitors, the 9th China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF), originally scheduled from 19 to 21 November at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre, is postponed to 20 to 22 March 2022 at the same venue. These new dates coincide with the 59th Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF) held in Italy from 21 to 24 March 2022. For the first time, the two major professional children’s book fairs will connect East and West through innovative real-time events. By mobilising their wide array of resources, the two fairs will organise joint activities in copyright trade, book promotion and illustration so that participants at both ends of the earth can network efficiently through time and space.

Call for works Chen Bochui International Children’s Literature Award
Four awards will be presented for the 2022 (34th) CICLA, namely, Best Picture Book Award, Best Literacy Award, New Chinese Writer Award, and Exceptional Achievement Award. The inaugural list of "Recommended Works of the Year" was released by organizers to promote excellent children's literature and picture books. Additionally, an upcoming Matchmaking Meeting of Chinese Excellent Children's Literature will also be held to bridge the cooperation between authors, publishers, and investors.Learn more
