As the 2020 Shanghai International Children's Book Fair (CCBF) closed yesterday after three lively days of meetings, events and exhibitions, we are now ready to bring down the curtain on this latest edition of CCBF by announcing the winner of the Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition People's Choice Award.
A wonderful platform for young illustrators to get the visibility they deserve, the Golden Pinwheel Exhibition held during the Fair attracted a large number of visitors, many of whom took that opportunity to vote for their favourite work among the 50 finalists displayed in the exhibition. Visitors of the Golden Pinwheel online gallery were also able to throw their vote from afar through our website.
The 2020 People's Choice Award is going to Yiyang Qiu (China, 1999) for her work "Looking for the Most Beautiful Net".

All six award winners of the 2020 Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Competition have now been announced. One of them will be chosen to design the key visual of the next CCBF, which will take place from 19 to 21 November 2021.
And since 2021 is drawing closer, we will come back very soon with news about the next edition of the competition, which—hopefully—will continue to encourage young illustrators in their professional development and ignite their creative enthusiasm.
