Launched in 2013, the China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair (CCBF) has quickly become an essential event for the global publishing industry.
Over its eleven years of development, CCBF has thrived in accomplishing its motto – Embracing the Future. Not only is the fair a leading hub for copyright in children’s books, but it is also a premium platform offering marketing solutions and crossover possibilities for a wide range of industries. Since 2018, it has entered into close cooperation with the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF) organised by BolognaFiere.
The 12th edition of CCBF will take place on 14-16 November 2025 at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Centre (SWEECC).
In particular, for the next edition, CCBF aims to enhance the presence of international IP owners interested in publishing business development and beyond, in China and the Asia-Pacific region. For this reason, the organizers aim to offer special initiatives, detailed below. Additionally, for each company wishing to participate, a range of facilities is provided, including hotel accommodation, transfers, access to the matchmaking platform, speaking opportunities, and an invitation to the Gala Dinner and the main CCBF special events.

The Hybrid Zone is situated in the heart of the exhibition zone, primarily attended by Chinese exhibitors, and is accessible to all professional visitors as well as the general public.

Facilities Offered to International Companies
CCBF offers various facilities to interested international companies, making their experience even richer and more rewarding. The booking fee for one of the above areas includes:
- 4-night hotel stay (Four Points By Sheraton in Pudong)
- Daily transfer to/from the fair
- Access to the matchmaking platform to meet international and Asian (Chinese) publishers
- Participation in the Gala Dinner on the first evening of the fair and in special events
- Speaking opportunities
