International Book Showcase

The book showcase emerged in 2020 as an alternative solution for overseas publishers who cannot attend the exhibition in person but still wish their books to be on display for Chinese editors and copyright professionals in search for new contents. The onsite staff recruited locally by CCBF collects visitors’ enquiries on behalf of the showcased book publishers, as a starting point to potential copyright deals. On site visitors can also get in touch, chat and virtually meet with Book Showcases publishers via the on line match making platform where exhibitors from remote uploaded their contacts, books preview and company profile.

Digital Hub

The Digital Hub is an integrated platform for publishers; content creators; software, gaming, animation and film producers; digital, multimedia and educational companies looking forward to digitalising their contents, developing new products, and foster new business partnerships to achieve crossover cooperation.

Literary Agents Centre

Literary Agents and Scouts will be welcomed at CCBF Literary Agents Centre, which is located in the Copyright Zone, and a turn-key opportunity to experience CCBF at 360°.

Young Illustrators Avenue

The Young Illustrators Avenue is an area created especially for illustrators, artists and content creators seeking for business opportunities, professional training and industry networking.

Bologna Best Children’s Publishers (BOP) Lounge

This area is dedicated to the worldwide winners and finalists of the BOP – Bologna Prize for the Best Children’s Publishers of the Year. The BOP Prize annually acknowledges the most significant publishers in each of the six areas of the world: Africa, Central and South America, North America, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

Strega Prize Lounge

The Strega Prize Lounge is open to winners and shortlisted publishing houses of the Premio Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi—the children’s special section of the most important Italian literary Prize. The Strega Lounge is an open window on the best contemporary children’s literature in Italian.

New Entry Lounge

Following the BCBF experience, where the New Entry Lounge in the last few years has been acting as a discovery hub for smart publishers from around the world, CCBF opens this lounge to selected publishing houses who exhibited at CCBF for the first time and noted for their editorial excellence and originality.
