Zhang Fan is an illustrator from Shandong, China. He is a teacher at the Shandong Art Academy and often collaborates with publishing houses and graphic design companies. His style is characterised by the use of hand drawing and non-digital techniques. His series “The Flower” earned him the 2017 Golden Pinwheel Grand Award to a Chinese artists and was chosen to design the key visual of the 2018 Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair. He won the first prize in the 2018 Global Illustration Award with his new artworks—“Subway”.
