Antonella Vincenzi

Antonella Vincenzi was born in Modena in 1966 and has tried getting away from her hometown several times since then, either to study or work abroad. But no matter how much she travelled either for real or through the books she read, she always came back home. She started working for Panini in 1993 a bit by accident and being pretty sure she would leave the company after a couple of years. But once again her plans went a different way. Antonella has now been working for Franco Cosimo Panini for 25 years, starting as an editor and foreign rights manager and, step by step, achieving the editorial direction of the publishing house.

She holds a degree in English and Spanish literature from the Bologna University and taught Spanish language and culture in a secondary school for three years. She always enjoys being surrounded with children and teenagers. A mother of two, she also likes keeping a connection with children through books.

Franco Cosimo Panini Editore is an Italian publishing house  with more than 25 years of experience in the publishing field, continually building a wide catalogue of children's publications aimed to readers from 0 to 10 years old. Over the years they have built solid partnerships with environmental, cultural and museum entities, creating a list of interactive non-fiction. They have got two evergreen characters with an active TV tie-in and have been working with other types of licenses.

Currently, they have been developing three new and exciting series addressing children of ages 8+. Our Shady Storiesnon-fiction series, for example, is targeted towards the young adult audiences by trying to unveil the slightly unknown details of the lives of famous personalities. The Bendages Gang, a fun and engaging new series, has a lot of merchandising potential and is picking up interest for animation.
